.NASA announced the discovery of an alien planet

NASA will announce the discovery of an alien or extra-solar planets latest results Kepler spacecraft mission. 
 The announcement will be made at NASA Headquarters Auditorium in Washington, United States, and broadcast live on television NASA.Pengumuman will be done in a briefing at 13.00 local time or approximately 3 February at 01.00 WIB. Parties NASA said that the briefing was only going to discuss the findings of extra-solar planets latest. 
The official announcement on the site revealed that NASA released data that will update the number of candidate planets. Data based on observations made between the date of May 2, 2009 and 17 Sepetember 2009. The meeting will follow the schedule released today. 
In a later meeting of stakeholders will attend the Kepler mission, among them Douglas Hudgins of NASA's Kepler Sceintist Program, William Borucki and investigator Jack Lissauer of the Kepler mission at NASA's Ames Research Center, and Debra Fischer, a professor of astronomy from Yale University. 
As we know, NASA's Kepler use to examine the planets in the outer solar system around its parent star in the habitable zone, which probably contained water. So, the announcement was probably the public can get information about human habitable planets. 
Kepler uses a super sensitive photometer is able to monitor more than 156,000 stars in the constellation Cygnus and Lyra. With that equipment, Kepler is able to detect the presence of planets through the dimming light of the parent star when a planet passed. 
Recently, Kepler managed to find the smallest alien planet named Kepler 10b. The planet is 1.4 times Earth's size to 4.6 times Earth's mass, the distance around a star 560 light years from Earth. Unfortunately, the planet unfit for human habitation as too close to their parent stars.
